  What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a technique of inserting and manipulating fine filiform needles into specific points on the body to relieve pain of for therapeutic purposes. The word acupuncture comes from the Latin acus, “needle”, and pungere, “ to prick”.

Acupuncture stimulates the flow of energy and blood while bringing the body back into balance. This is performed via the painless insertion of very thin, disposable needles into specific points in the body. It is a wide misconception that the sole use of acupuncture is to treat back pain as it can treat a wide variety of internal conditions.

  Does Acupuncture Hurt?

No, acupuncture is not painful although some patients may feel a slight prick sensation just as the needles are inserted. The needles are tiny, just a little larger than human hair. An acupuncture treatment is actually quite relaxing and comfortable.

Computerized Body Scan

Analyzing the energy balance of each organ and meridian.A digital meridian imaging system used to analyze and document the energetic status of acupuncture meridians.

There are several kinds of organs in our body and each organ has its own conditions.  They are also correlated to each other.  When they have proper balance, and harmonization with the body, they can be called healthy.   When they are imbalanced, they can not be harmonized and this suggests we should see a doctor.

Regular Computerized Body Scans can help you to monitor your condition and will allow you to maintain health and wellness.
